During this project, I worked on a team of 5 which was tasked with delivering a prosthetic knee joint at an optimal cost for the Kausay Wasi Health Clinic in Coya, Peru. We designed cardboard, 3D printed, and metal prototypes to work through design considerations to address customer needs.

The final design utilizes a four-bar linkage design, and uses rubber bands as an inexpensive alternative to spring control.
